Amélie Strens is manager Service Development at NS Stations, a business unit of the Dutch Railways. She is responsible for the development of mobility services at all train stations in the Netherlands. The services include OV-bicycle (a bike rental/sharing public bike system with over five million rentals per year), guarded bicycle parking facilities, car parking, taxi, lockers, toilets and waiting facilities. The development of the services is always a collaboration with stakeholders such as the Ministry of Infrastructure and Waterstaat, ProRail, municipalities and provinces. And social partners like the Fietsersbond and Rover.

Amélie loves to think about the spacial consequences and solutions to facilitate the door-to-door journey and to look out for new coalitions to realize this.
