For over 75 years, Arup has been recognised for its vision, talent, and tenacity. Dedicated to sustainable development, the firm is a collective of 16,000 designers, advisors and experts working across 140 countries. Founded to be both humane and excellent, we collaborate with our clients and partners using imagination, technology, and rigour to shape a better world.
Our Vision for cycling is in line with our goal to sustainably design our world and our commitment to the UN SDGs and in this case more specifically goal 11: 'Making cities people centred through the promotion of cycling and thus improve inclusivity, safety, resilience, health and sustainability.'
Arup’s cycling team can help you in several ways. Together with our clients, we create policies and strategies, design cycle infrastructure, analyse accessibility and inclusivity, advise on cycle planning, behavioural change, bike sharing schemes, wayfinding, and public realm design. We are experienced in working with communities, all levels of government, and as trusted advisors, we partner with developers, architects and planners of significant masterplans and developments to deliver exemplar schemes. We help our clients by applying Dutch views and knowledge to the local context. Our international team members help us to understand their local context.
