Dutch 11-11-2013 At the third EIMUS conference in Lima, Peru, on November 6th 2013 a new book on cycling was launched: "Cyclists & Cycling Around the World, creating liveable & bikeable cities". It contains 25 articles detailing good practices coming from many parts of the world - from India to Amsterdam. The articles are written by expert authors with one passion in common – cycling and cyclists. Dutch contributions are from Ria Hilhorst (Further Development of Cycle Culture – Amsterdam continues to pave the way for cyclists) and Tom Godefrooij (Multi Modal Transport Policy – The example of the Dutch “bicycle and train” system). More information about the book and how to get it can be found at www.cyclists-world.com
We send a dutch cycling expert to Lima for a presentation on cycling policies.
